Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on the 31st October 1979. Her best-known role is the role of the deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy television series Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian heritage. From the age of eight Cerra was captivated by her passion for acting. She appeared in countless commercials as a child. The actress took a brief break from acting but came back to the stage in 2001, when she was at the age of 22. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named Cerra as one of the city's top five rising actresses. Cerra played a role in Eureka as the Syfy show which aired between 2006 and 2012. She played Deputy Jo Lupo. Cerra also appeared in the music video from 2006 for The Michael Buble hit song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra has appeared in television shows that are popular, including Battlestar Galactica, The L Word as well as many more. Cerra has also been featured in major cinematic movie releases such as Man About Town with Ben Affleck and Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity with Wesley Snipes. Cerras' face and body was used as a model to create her character Ashley Williams for the Mass Effect series of video games. She has also appeared in Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff as well as Dead Like Me. She has also appeared in the Canadian detective procedural Cold Squad and the adventure show featuring monsters Special Unit 2 or the supernatural thriller The Collector. Cerra married Raffaele Fiore in November 2010.

Khondabi said she and Joey met in the middle of school at Greenwood Christian School and were acquaintances for several years prior to when they started dating as seniors at high school. Howard completed his studies at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo however, Khondabi and Howard remained friends. The two began dating. Khondabi is a graduate in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina and is also an student in 2007. Emerald High School Graduate. She has a minor in Sports and Entertainment Management. Joey is also an USC graduated. They are the parents of one furry child the dog Liam. Khondabi stated that she and Joey were both foodies onion rings were one the most requested home-cooked meals. Khondabi said: I'm a person who is curious. As an elementary student, I conducted educational interviews which were broadcasted in the news program of our school and I also was responsible for the daily news headlines of our school. Oakland Elementary's news show was titled WOAK. Khondabi shared with us that when she finished the college and moved to Augusta Georgia, WAGT was her first job on TV as a news reporter. Khondabi reported that she worked in television news for around six years. In Augusta the following Augusta I started working as a morning reporter at WOWK Charleston West Virginia, as well as in Columbus Ohio I was employed as a traffic host and morning news at Local ABC and FOX affiliate stations.
